Dearest Neil,
It's safe to say that after the zoo, I had so many questions. I wanted to understand exactly what was going on in that brain of yours. I wanted to know how it was that you got to where you were at that point in your life. I guess I just wanted to know more.
You had been coming to church to socialize. You would sit outside in the foyer and wait for all 3 hours of church to finish and then you would talk to whomever it was you felt like you wanted to socialize with. It was the day after the zoo that I witnessed you coming into Sacrament Meeting, after months of seeing you at church. And I had the privilege of sitting next to you. Then, you went to Sunday School, again I was lucky enough to sit next to you. It was after Sunday School that we really started talking. I started off by saying that I had a lot of questions and was a very straightforward person. I then asked if you would be okay with me asking you these questions. You responded with something along the lines of, "if you don't ask, then you won't know."
The next 5 hours were filled with me asking questions, trying to understand basically everything about your life. And I was getting answers. You were the first person in a long time that I had spoken to that I really felt a connection with. I pretty much decided from that moment, that you were going to be my best friend whether you liked it or not. Fortunately, it seems like you weren't opposed to the idea at all. I learned everything I wanted to and every day since then we have talked in one form or another continuing to learn more and more about each other. I have loved every minute of it and wish to take none of it back.
Until next post,
Yours Truly,
Kay :)
